The Brand Marketing Strategy Department is responsible for the development of all the creative products that customers see and hold in their hands in the Rakuten Mobile business. It has already been 5 years since we started our service, but we are constantly improving our branding area while keeping an eye on market trends (user trends). We are a department where you can enjoy a sense of accomplishment and an environment where you can create better products one project at a time without inertia or giving up. The Brand Marketing Communications Section oversees advertising production and operations for Rakuten Mobile, while also managing end-to-end marketing operations. The team handles a diverse range of behind-the-scenes functions - including loyalty point disbursement for campaign participants, promotional email delivery, call center escalation support, and campaign secretariat management. Additional hiring to strengthen the marketing communication area in line with the expansion of Mobile business. Key responsibilities include creating and validating point disbursement data for campaign participants, designing the end-to-end process through output generation, executing point rewards, and managing post-disbursement performance tracking. Rakuten Group's fundamental management philosophy is to empower people and society through innovation. At the Commerce & Marketing Company, we operate services with industry-top-level share, such as the internet shopping mall "Rakuten Ichiba" (starting with this), EC services like the online travel agency (OTA) "Rakuten Travel," and Japan's largest golf course reservation site "Rakuten GORA." “Rakuten Travel” is one of the largest travel booking websites in Japan, and we are looking for people who can play a central role in the further growth of the business. We are looking for people who not only want to improve their sales skills, but also want to step into the area of team management and administration, and who are motivated to improve their own career along with the growth of the business. The High-end Business Development Group of the Hotel Partnership Development Department specializes in sales activities for high-end hotels and ryokan in Japan and overseas. Japanese culture is attracting attention globally, and global brand hotel chains are accelerating their expansion into Japan. In addition, there is an increasing focus on ryokan (Japanese style inns) that embody the unique Japanese hospitality. Our mission is to propose and realize the value that leading hotels and ryokans that offer wonderful experiences can provide through Rakuten Travel. In this position, you will work as a strategic partner for luxury hotels and ryokans, providing consulting services for attracting customers through the web (Rakuten Travel) and opening new stores on Rakuten Travel. We will make full use of various numerical analysis and web marketing know-how, and utilize the tools proposed by Rakuten Travel to increase sales. We work in a cycle of understanding the current situation of clients, analyzing the current situation, identifying issues, and sharing goals, indicators, methods, and results. As a strategic partner, we share goals and develop strategies to achieve them. We provide web marketing know-how, numerical analysis, and various tools to help increase sales. We are looking for people who can tell the appeal of luxury hotels and ryokans to as many customers as possible. This market is rapidly expanding and there is a shortage of skilled professionals. The High-End Business Promotion Office is an attractive environment where you can hone skills such as strategic planning, presentations, and marketing, leading to your personal growth. We welcome applications from individuals who are eager to learn and are not afraid to take on challenges. The job mission is delivering Japan’s highest peak to the world and supporting luxury hotels nationwide. The High-End Business Promotion Office supports the maximization of sales for approximately 250 carefully selected luxury hotels and ryokans, out of more than 40,000 facilities registered on Rakuten Travel nationwide. Each person is in charge of approximately 30 to 40 facilities, facing each one deeply, and thinking about and executing measures to increase reservations together. The customers we handle are both domestic and inbound. Business negotiations in English can also be experienced as part of the job. It is not just sales; it is strategic consulting work that creates "chosen inns" through the power of clients and Web marketing. Daily work includes checking reservation and sales data of the facilities in charge and organizing issues; holding meetings with facility representatives to propose measures, including online meetings and business trips to various parts of the country several times a month; thinking about mechanisms and promotions for selling the highest-grade facilities and reflecting them in plans; and sharing progress within the team and solving difficult issues together. Based in Tokyo (Rakuten Crimson House), you will go on business trips to wonderful hotels and ryokans all over the country. Sometimes there are also chances for overseas business trips. You can develop dynamic business with Japan and the world as your stage. In strategic planning for acquiring inbound customers, there are abundant opportunities for business negotiations using English. You can compete on equal terms with global brand hotel chains and raise your own English skills to a business level. Without being tied to a specific region, you will be in charge of top-class facilities nationwide. By multiplying the charm of each land with Rakuten's data, you can launch your own "hit measures" on a national scale. Rather than proposals according to a manual, you will thoroughly hear out the issues of each facility. You will work together to consider how to reach more customers, and share the joy of results, building a deep relationship of trust. The Travel & Mobility Business has approximately 550 people. The High-end Business Development Office has 10 members, including 1 GM, 1 Vice-GM, and 1 Manager. The team is primarily in its 20s and 30s. Team members come from diverse industries, including tourism, hospitality, manufacturing, and aviation. The team is vibrant and flat. Even junior members are encouraged to voice their opinions and take ownership of projects. The team holds weekly office days to catch up and ensure it wins as a team rather than as individuals. The team motto is "Serious about work, enjoy time off too!" Team members enjoy activities such as team dinners and karaoke nights and inspire each other professionally and personally.
