You will be responsible for culinary operations in various restaurants within our hotel. To ensure you can work with confidence, senior staff will provide thorough guidance from the basics. In the Teppanyaki Kitano (all counter seating / face-to-face cooking), you will dynamically prepare selected Kobe beef and local ingredients right in front of the customers. Your duties will include cooking and serving at the counter, preparation, cleaning, dishwashing, inventory management and ordering of ingredients, and maintaining kitchen hygiene. In the Casual Dining The Terrace (Western and multinational cuisine), you will provide internationally diverse dishes utilizing seasonal local ingredients in an open and spacious environment. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, cooking under the chef's direction, cooking and serving in an open kitchen in front of guests, cleaning and preparing the cooking area, managing inventory and ordering of ingredients, and maintaining kitchen hygiene. For Banquet Cooking (large-scale cooking), you will be in charge of a variety of party and conference dishes served in 23 venues of various sizes. Your tasks will include preparation and setup of banquet dishes under the chef's direction, transporting and organizing ingredients, and collaborating with other sections to assist with plating and serving dishes.
Team Management Manage daily accounting and finance operations, allocate tasks according to business plans, and establish a smooth operational structure. Promote the improvement of accounting knowledge, skills, and work quality through guidance to team members and review of deliverables. Ensure compliance with IHG standards, standard operating procedures (SOP), internal controls, and compliance in business operations. Accounting and Finance Operations Oversee all aspects of monthly closing operations, including reviewing the general ledger (GL) and closing journal entries. Review accounts payable, prepaid expenses, allocation processing, and reconciliation of balance sheet account balances. Analyze anomalies in the profit and loss statement (P/L) and balance sheet (B/S) and drive problem-solving initiatives. Manage and support fixed asset management, intercompany transactions, and tax and statutory accounting operations. Financial Management Monitor the achievement of budgets and KPIs related to customer satisfaction, sales, cost management, gross operating profit (GOP), and labor management. Ensure the accuracy of monthly accounting processes while supervising the management of receivables and payables. Internal and External Customer Support Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders.
