We are redesigning business logic with AI Agent in mind, creating core systems that can be handled by both humans and AI — this is the theme we are challenging in this era. The other is Professional Services. Using the Tailor Platform, we deeply engage with customers' business challenges, handling everything from identifying issues to designing solutions, implementation, and delivery from the pre-sales stage. We not only build backends on the Tailor Platform but also engage in frontend development, business consulting, IT strategy, and PMO support, directly addressing customers' management challenges. These two are not independent. The insights gained in the field of Professional Services flow back into the Tailor Platform, and the evolution of the Tailor Platform accelerates the problem-solving of Professional Services — creating this cycle is at the core of our development style. The market Tailor challenges The ERP market accounts for about 30% of the entire software market. Globally, it is expected to reach $73 billion by 2026 and double to $281.5 billion by 2035 (Precedence Research). The domestic market is also expected to grow from over 5 trillion yen in 2024 to over 8.5 trillion yen by 2029. However, more important than market size is the fact that there are still a large number of unresolved business challenges in this area. As the global trend shifts from "all-in-one packages" to "best-of-breed combinations of SaaS," questions arise daily in companies about how to structure complex business processes, how far to automate, and how to incorporate AI. We stand at the forefront of addressing these questions as pioneers in this field. Role of this position As a member of Professional Service, you will implement solutions from the discovery of customer issues from the pre-sales stage. Alternatively, you will collaborate with customers to develop products to maximize the success rate of existing projects. You will also directly contribute to the evolution of the Tailor Platform by leveraging these experiences. This position is not a title but indicates a technical area of expertise within the Professional Service organization. Depending on the project and organizational situation, you will tackle challenges in various areas. Specific job responsibilities Utilizing your background as a PdM, you will think and choose the expected roles yourself. Here are some examples: - From identifying issues in pre-sales to business design, solution design, implementation, and delivery, take full responsibility for success without creating a gap of "this is where another person takes over." - Deeply engage with various enterprise businesses while directly collaborating with customers, quickly catching up on business domains. - Contribute to customer growth as an excellent team player through the solutions provided. - Abstract solutions to various problems faced by customers in a reusable form, contributing to the evolution of the Tailor Platform. Attractiveness of this position - You can stand at the center of the judgment of "what to solve and why" — As the speed of implementation increases due to AI, the value of judgment about "what to create" and "why to solve it" becomes relatively higher. FDE stands at the center of that judgment. - You can not only use the platform but also be part of its development — You can return the insights gained in the field to improve the Tailor Platform. Your solutions will become the foundation for the next project. - You can directly commit to customer value through collaboration with diverse teams — You will stand at the forefront of problem-solving while co-creating with various teams such as PdM, Consultant, and Sales. - AI / LLM native development environment — We have already introduced major AI / LLM services and agents. You will also be involved in building custom agents for our company. Development environment - Middleware - IDP like Auth0, Tailor Platform - Monitoring - Datadog - Environment construction - Docker, docker-compose, Terraform - Programming languages - TypeScript, React.js - Frameworks, etc. - Next.js, Playwright, vitest - Others - GitHub Copilot, WebStorm, GoLand Minimum requirements - Over 5 years of product development experience in a specific area as an engineer - Over 2 years of consistent project management experience from customer negotiations and requirements definition to development practice - Technical communication skills in Japanese (native level) - Must be able to work in the office in principle Preferred requirements - Understanding of business domains in the enterprise area - Experience leading the development/introduction of AI/LLM native products - Achievements that have had a technical impact across multiple projects or organizations - Achievements in abstracting individual project solutions into reusable forms and returning them to the platform or common assets - Development experience using GraphQL - Technical communication skills in English (business level) Desired personality - Someone who can make decisions as a senior — Able to judge "what to decide now" from limited information on questions without a clear answer and articulate the rationale. - Someone who can take ownership — Able to own responsibility for customer outcomes without drawing a line of "this is my job." - Someone who can spread their learning to the team and organization — Rather than just their own productivity, they aim to multiply the effects of their solutions through the team, customers, and Platform. - Someone who values actual value rather than metrics — Values the actual value delivered to customers and the Platform rather than achieving specific metrics. Salary - 7 million to 15 million yen Our company adopts a mission-grade system that determines compensation based on the size of the role (mission) and its results, regardless of age or years of service. The grade at the time of joining will be determined through selection, and subsequent grades will be determined based on evaluations conducted once every six months.
