You will support growth and transformation for medium to large enterprises in the East Japan region. As the owner of your assigned customers/territory, you will develop sales plans, make proposals to new customers, and perform upselling and cross-selling to existing customers. Your sales targets will primarily include business leaders such as executives and directors, allowing you to engage in sales activities with a strong consulting element. You will promote new customer acquisition and deepen existing customer relationships in collaboration with the marketing department, inside sales department, channel sales department, and partners for your assigned accounts/territory. You will not only solve customer issues but also propose the future vision and ideal state that customers wish to achieve as a Trusted Advisor. Since you will provide services rather than products to customers, you can focus on proposals aimed at customer success without spending effort on product shipping and delivery. Most of the proposals in this department will be directed at CEO-level individuals, allowing you to acquire proposal skills directly related to management. As you will be making proposals to decision-makers, the span from deal occurrence to contract will be short, enabling you to gain extensive closing experience as a salesperson.
The Wholesale Lending Operations Servicing & Booking Intermediate Analyst (C11) sits within the Loan Agency and Loan Operations teams at Citigroup Global Markets Japan Inc. and is targeted at Officer level and below. This is a hands-on operational role where the primary focus is on Loan Agency functions — the successful candidate will be expected to act as a core member of the Loan Agency Team, taking ownership of syndicated loan servicing responsibilities across the full deal lifecycle.
